Shannon, Ireland

We didn't stay in Shannon, Ireland, long.  It was really just a re-fueling stop.

But we did get to get off the plane and walk around for awhile.  Which meant we were there long enough to buy some souvenirs!  I got a soccer jersey, another t-shirt, and some golf balls for people back home. :)

Flying over Ireland:

When you fly private, you get to run around on the runway and the fields surrounding it :)

Re-fueling our jet for the flight back to Boston

One thing I quickly learned in Ireland:  EVERYthing is green.  Even the airplanes.

Let the traveling begin!

So I thought it would be fun to start a blog -- just to keep track of what I'm up to now that I have a fancy job and am in the real world.

And here we go.  My first international trip begins -- on a private jet.

That's normal, right? ;)

My boss' private jet - leaving sunny Truckee, CA:

We stopped in a much cloudier Boston, switched to the bigger jet, and picked up some more people for the long haul to London.

We slept for a little bit...

And seven or so hours later, watched the sun rise just before landing in London.

I already love this job.
